The exam for Certified Open Text Professional (Livelink ECM - Document Management) validates that the successful candidate has achieved a professional level of expertise, and demonstrates technical competency in the following areas:
  • Successfully installing Livelink ECM - Document Management
  • Creating and configuring users, libraries and indexes
  • Implementing security for groups and users
  • Creating and maintaining Livelink ECM - Document Management objects, and implement access control
  • Integrating Livelink ECM - Document Management with other extensions and applications, including CyberDOCS and PowerDOCS

    The exam is open book. Candidates may bring any notes, classroom books and laptops. The only material not allowed is a copy of the test or its questions/answers in any format. Exam participants are also restricted from discussing the exam with any outside parties or other exam participants during the specified testing period.

    To achieve the CHP (Hummingbird DM) certification, candidates are strongly recommended to attend the following Hummingbird Education Services courses at one of our corporate training centers or Authorized Training Center partners:

  • #335 Implementing Document Management using Livelink ECM - Document Management
  • #331 Livelink ECM - Document Management for DOCS Administrators

    In addition, it is recommended that candidates have attained a level of hands-on, real-world experience with the product.

    Certification Exam Format
    The CHP (Livelink ECM - Document Management) Certification Exam consists of 75 questions. The test time limit is 2 hours. A passing score is 80% or better, which equates to 60 out of 75 correct answers. The written test includes question formats such as multiple choice, choose all that apply, and true or false.

    The breakdown of the questions is as follows:

  • End User Level - 20 questions (Covered in Courses 331, 335)
  • Administrator/Installation Modules - 40 questions (Covered in Courses 331, 335)
  • Designer/SQL - 15 questions (Covered in Courses 331, 335)
