Jeff,
Correct command is:
/usr/openwin/bin/xdm -config /usr/openwin/lib/xdm/xdm-config
This starts the X Display Manager daemon. Make sure
that you have entries for each PC in the /etc/hosts file
on the Unix server and name MUST match the PC's
configured name (Control Panel ... Network ... TCP/IP ...
DNS).
You will then be able to use Exceed in either XDMCP-Query
or XDMCP-Broadcast modes. I suggest that you keep the
default Exceed settings (Xconfig). You can run the "Exceed
XDMCP-Broadcast) icon to start a session. You can also
create profiles (.SES) with the Xsession program to use
XDMCP-Query to connect to specific hosts.
Regards,
Jim Frost

/usr/openwin/bin/xdm it simply brings up Open Windows on the console instead
of my PC. What am I doing wrong?
