Jim,
There are already PC hosts entries in the /etc/hosts file but still giving
the same problem. Now one more thing I traced out is that I found some
error lines in the exceed.log file as follow:
"Cannot open font server tcp/bujs02.:7100"
At the same time, when I check the Unix site, there is some error
information in the /var/dt/Xerrors file as follow:
error (pid 382): ß?@/usr/openwin/bin/xset: bad font path element (#46),
possible causes are:
Directory does not exist or has wrong permissions
Directory missing fonts.dir
Incorrect font server address or syntax
When I checked the font path in Unix site, /usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts
exists and there are corresponding fonts found under their respective path
such as 100dpi,75cpi,misc and etc. So I don't know what to do more. Could
you please keep advised more on this issue?
thanks & regards,
Khin Nyo Nu.
