We are in the process of upgrading from Exceed v6.2 on Windows NT to v9.0
on XP and I'm seeing some major differences. Not surprising when you
upgrade and skip two major releases!

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the proceedures that were used for
installing either version because I am far removed from that process, but
I'm wondering whether some of these differences are because of customized
installation choices, or simply differences in the versions:

1. v6.2 has a folder called Host Access that has a shortcut called FTP
that points to FTP.EXE in the Exceed Installation folder. V9 has no
shortcut, and there is no FTP.EXE in any of the Exceed installation
folders. Is this expected? Note that the Windows Explorer FTP shell
(hummingbird neighborhood) is still available and functions correctly.

2. v6.2 Exceed.exe opens a "Common Desktop Environment" workspace that
includes 4 dterm windows, and a icon toolbar that includes other utilities
like mail, etc..... v9 opens a single terminal window with an external tool
bar. I can see some workspace icons, but they don't have anything in
them... Is this evidence that someone created a customized installation for
v6.2 that we may need to recreate for v9?

Thanks,
BKB
