Hello,
Try removing the trailing @ from your command line. It would then be:

@(XTerm, method=stdappdb) -display @d&

If that doesn't work start Exceed so it shows in your taskbar. Telnet into
your host and run "who -u". It will give a machine name or IP address.
Then issue the following command.

/usr/openwin/bin/xterm -display <IP Address>:0&

where <IP Address> is the name or IP address from the who -u command. If
the above command doesn't work it might give some error which will point you
to what is going wrong.
