RESOLUTION:

Add the following section to the win.ini:

[HCLFTP]
AlternateParse = 1

This fix works for Windows 3.1, Windows 95 and Windows NT.

In Exceed 6.2, if this occurs, the user has to create/modify an ftp.ini file in the exceed\user directory and add the flag:
[settings]
AlternateParse=1

AlternateParse - This key is used ONLY for UNIX FTP servers, mainly used for non-US or non-English UNIX servers with their date format in a language other than English. It is also used for UNIX FTP servers that have huge files in the listing. The size field distorts the listing.
