Error Message when trying to Update, remove or modify Exceed
DISCUSSION:
When trying to Update, remove or modify Exceed V7.0 you get the following message:
"give full path to location of exPatch1033.msp."
No changes can be made until this file is located.
RESOLUTION:
Go to http://www.hummingbird.com/hummingbirdupdate/ and download the appropriate patch for your version of Exceed.
Save the patch.
From the start>run button browse to the patch
Outside the quotations enter the following:
ExtractOnly=1.
This will extract the .msp file, which you can then point to as required.
The following is an example command line:
"Drive:\Location\exPatch.1033.exe" ExtractOnly=1
