Double click on "Printers/Plotters->"
Open the "Actions" menu and select the "Add remote Printer/Plotter..."
Give the printer a name in "Printer Name"
Enter the PC's host name in "Remote System Name"
Sometimes the host may have a hard time resolving the PC's host name.
In this case you can specify the PC's ip address.
If you are running Windows 95, NT 3.51 or NT 4.0 enter one of the following for the "Remote Printer Name":
| Remote Printer Name |

where printername is the name of the printer on the PC.
If the user does not know which to use, use text-printername as the
default.
For example, if you have a printer on the PC called HP3D, enter unixff-HP3D
Note:
A customer has reported that HP 9.03 has a limit on the number of
characters in the remote queue
name. Thus, if UNIXFF-printername is too long, shortened prefixes (D,
DF, U, UF, T) can be used. Also, some systems do not allow a dash "-" in
the remote queue name. For these systems, an underscore "_" can be used
instead.
If you are running Windows 3.1, or Windows 3.11 enter one of the
following for the "Remote Printer Name":
| dos-lpt1 |
dos-lpt2 |
| dosff-lpt1 |
dosff-lpt2 |
| unix-lpt1 |
unix-lpt2 |
| unixff-lpt1 |
unixff-lpt2 |
| text-lpt1 |
text-lpt2 |
Where lpt# is the port that the printer is attached to.
IMPORTANT: Press the "Remote Printer is on a BSD system"
button. Select "OK".
