Important notice (January 4, 1996):

It has come to our attention that the October 1995 version of the McAfee Virus Scanner (McAfee VirusScan 95 1.10) will detect an apparent "virus" on the installation disks of Hummingbird's Exceed 5 for Windows 95. This detection is erroneous. There is, in fact, no virus present in the Exceed files. A later version of the McAfee VirusScan (November 1995) has corrected this false detection. Details of this false detection are below:

Virus name: VIROGEN.1294 File name: xstartdw.exe

You may upgrade your copy of VirusScan to alleviate this detection.
